Canopy Zipline Runs

Zipline parks in Belize are concentrated in the Cayo District and the southern rainforest corridors near Dangriga. The most developed operations run parallel lines above forested valleys, with platforms anchored into hardwoods at 60 to 120 feet. Sessions typically cover between 7 and 14 platforms, mixing canyon crossings with tighter jungle runs through mid-canopy.

Bocawina Adventures near Dangriga operates some of the longest lines in Central America, including a dual zip that drops 1,600 feet in a single run over Bocawina National Park. In the Cayo area, operators run lines above the Macal River Valley and Mountain Pine Ridge foothills, often combining the zip course with a cave tubing or waterfall segment in the same half-day block.

Weight limits vary by operator, typically 250 to 280 lbs, and some lines require a minimum age of 7 to 10. All gear is provided, but closed-toe shoes are mandatory and quick-dry clothing reduces discomfort during hot platform waits between lines.
