Belize Travel Insider is an independent Belize travel guide for people planning a trip. It covers transport schedules, regions, places to stay, dining, tours, practical travel guidance, and live conditions. Transport schedules and trip-cost prices show the date they were last checked and where they came from: the operator's own timetable or booking system, an official Government of Belize rate, or a price checked in person in Belize.
Who we are
The Belize information that is hard to find, checked and in one place
Belize Travel Insider is written and reviewed by Rowan, with prices checked on the ground in Belize. The information that actually decides a Belize trip is scattered: bus timetables live on operator Facebook pages, river and flood bulletins are posted as images, and fares change by government notice. Much of it never shows up in a search engine.
We gather it from the source, check it, date it, and put it in one place. Prices come from operators, official Government of Belize rates, Statistical Institute of Belize figures, or an in-person check. Live conditions come from NOAA, the Belize National Meteorological Service, and the National Hydrological Service.
