Secret Beach Cabanas is a small, eco-conscious bed-and-breakfast on the west side of Ambergris Caye, approximately 4.5 miles northwest of San Pedro Town. The intimate property contains four colorful vacation rentals near the calm waters, beach bars and restaurants of Secret Beach.
Each cabana accommodates up to two guests and includes a queen bed and private bathroom. The Green, Orange and Yellow cabanas also feature private balconies, sea views and mini refrigerators, while the Blue Cabana is attached to the property’s shared Social Club and honor-bar lounge. Complimentary breakfast is served each morning between 7:30 and 9:00 AM.
The property operates completely off-grid using solar energy and collected rainwater. In keeping with its eco-conscious approach, the cabanas do not have air conditioning; guests rely on ceiling fans, open windows and the natural island breeze. Wi-Fi is available for general browsing, messaging and light streaming.
Guests can relax in the shared courtyard, enjoy the beach and calm water, use complimentary floats, or walk to nearby restaurants and bars. The west-facing location is known for sunsets, stargazing and water that is generally less exposed to the Caribbean-side sargassum affecting the eastern shoreline of Ambergris Caye.
